by Andrew Bovell
Bob and Fran are the parents of four adult children. Each of their children struggles with personal issues they try hard to keep secret from their parents. Heartbreak, an unhappy marriage, sexual identity and drug use all threaten the family unity, especially as Fran has the uncanny ability of knowing the truth behind the facade. And what of their own marriage? Is it as stable as it seems? Funny and poignant, Things I know to be True examines the dynamics of the family as they face the truth in the midst of crisis.
