COVID UPDATES

Bolton Little Theatre – Covid-19 – Keeping Us All Safe

To ensure we are able to provide a comfortable and safe visit to our theatre for everyone, there are a few things we need you to do and know ahead of your visit.  Please take a moment to read the information below.  This information will continue to be updated in line with current Government guidance so we recommend checking back again before your performance.

SYMPTOMS

We would remind you not to come to the theatre if you feel unwell, have any coronavirus symptoms, or have been told to self-isolate.

PARKING

We no longer have the use of the car wash yard for parking.  As you know there is parking on single yellow lines in Hanover Street after 6pm.  If there is no space here we remind you that the Bolton Market carpark (NCP Ashburner Street) is just across Moor Lane, and is free after 6pm.

TIME OF ARRIVAL

As you will appreciate it may take longer than normal to seat you.  We ask you to arrive between 6.45pm and 7.15pm for the start of the performance at 7.30pm.  The main stage auditorium will be open from 6.45pm so you may take your seats straightaway, if you wish.

MASKS/SANITISING

We would urge all our visitors to join our volunteers in wearing a face covering whenever possible whilst in the building, out of consideration for those around you.  Please use the hand sanitiser available at the theatre.

DISTANCING/QUEUES

Be mindful of others and their space, where possible, particularly when moving around the theatre.  We will ask you to queue for the bar and tea/coffee so please follow directions as required.

BAR

The bar will be open as normal, before the performance, at the interval and afterwards.  We encourage you to pre-order interval drinks.  Also as normal we shall not be letting you take drinks into the auditorium.

TEA AND COFFEE

These will be served as normal during the interval but this will be done in the Forge theatre.

HOUSEKEEPING

We will be doing more cleaning than usual.  In the auditorium we shall be using the ceiling fans to improve air circulation, and also opening fire exits at the interval for ventilation, as appropriate.
